Rains have continually been soaking the New Madrid area just as they are now. Look at this map!
Map
The epicenter for the New Madrid is right where Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky meet. GET THE PICTURE?
It's been like this day after day AFTER DAY! INTENTIONALLY! Best time to CAUSE this quake is when the ground will LIQUIFY!
Everybody was watching them for the 16-19 dates so they just delayed it a bit.
I would bet REAL MONEY that all those Canadian troops are STILL HERE!
GET READY folks, This thing could hit tonight or tomorrow if their pattern holds!
This is either more weather modification continuing the flooding or the TRIGGER for a large quake.
Either way these BASTARDS need to be held accountable for the damage and DEATHS they are causing!
This info was gathered on FRIDAY AFTERNOON. It took 40 hours to cause the quake in Haiti and 55 for the one in Japan. So this will likely hit late Saturday night or Sunday IF this is what these scum are trying to achieve!
Rains Soaking New Madrid for upcoming May 16-19 HUGE QUAKE!

DEAD BIRDS FALLING FROM TREES IN NEW ZEALAND..REMAINS A MYSTERY
Galahs dropping dead and falling from trees in Oxley Park remain a mystery but the possibility of poisoning seems unlikely following an autopsy by a veterinarian. The vet from Central West Livestock Health and Pest Authority is investigating the deaths of a large number of birds that were found dead under trees throughout the park on Sunday morning. Some were also seen in the grounds of TAFE. The birds did not have any obvious injuries or wounds and were all lying in a spread wing position. Some of the birds will now be sent off to the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural Institute at Menangle for further testing in case any exotic, notifiable disease is the culprit.
Senior LHPA ranger based in Dubbo Lisa Thomas said the bird deaths were a concern, with an autopsy carried out by the vet, who retrieved some of the birds that had been recovered from the scene on Sunday morning. The vet found no evidence of poisoning by mouse baits and no dye discolouration in the crops or stomachs of the birds.
The LHPA works in conjunction with landholders to protect crops from mice but the management includes prevention of poisoning of non-target animals, such as grain-eating birds.
“Perimeter baits are brightly coloured which are not attractive to birds, and the grey-coloured grain used on broadacre crops is applied later in the evening after birds have gone in to roost,” Ms Thomas said.
Warren Shire Council and National Parks and Wildlife were also contacted regarding the deaths.

Hundreds of thousands of fish found dead in lake surrounding Taal volcano in Philippines.
MANILA, Philippines (Xinhua) - Nearly 400 metric tons of milkfish were found floating in Taal Lake in the northern Philippines, local officials said today.
Talisay Mayor Zenaida Mendoza said that more or less 375 metric tons of milkfish died since Thursday in 84 fish cages in Sampaloc village of the same town in Batangas province.
Zeny Macatangay, Municipal Agriculture Officer of Talisay, said that initial investigation disclosed that the fish death was due to "sudden change of water temperature" in the lake where Taal Volcano is located.
Alert Level 2 is still in effect over Taal Volcano, with the interpretation that magma has been intruding towards the surface, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
Six volcanic earthquakes were recorded in the past 24 hours near the volcano.

Where are India's millions of missing girls?
India's 2011 census shows a serious decline in the number of girls under the age of seven - activists fear eight million female foetuses may have been aborted in the past decade. The BBC's Geeta Pandey in Delhi explores what has led to this crisis.
Kulwant has three daughters aged 24, 23 and 20 and a son who is 16.
In the years between the birth of her third daughter and her son, Kulwant became pregnant three times.
My mother-in-law said if I had a daughter, my husband would leave me. Thankfully, I had a son.”
End Quote

Each time, she says, she was forced to abort the foetus by her family after ultrasound tests confirmed that they were girls.
"My mother-in-law taunted me for giving birth to girls. She said her son would divorce me if I didn't bear a son."
Kulwant still has vivid memories of the first abortion. "The baby was nearly five months old. She was beautiful. I miss her, and the others we killed," she says, breaking down, wiping away her tears.
Until her son was born, Kulwant's daily life consisted of beatings and abuse from her husband, mother-in-law and brother-in-law. Once, she says, they even attempted to set her on fire.
"They were angry. They didn't want girls in the family. They wanted boys so they could get fat dowries," she says.
India outlawed dowries in 1961, but the practice remains rampant and the value of dowries is constantly growing, affecting rich and poor alike.
Kulwant's husband died three years after the birth of their son. "It was the curse of the daughters we killed. That's why he died so young," she says

Is graphene the miracle material back engineered from Roswell?
Graphene is taken from graphite, which is made up of weakly bonded layers of carbon
Graphene is composed of carbon atoms arranged in tightly bound hexagons just one atom thick
Three million sheets of graphene on top of each other would be 1mm thick
It is a good thermal and electric conductor and can be used to develop semiconductor circuits and computer parts. Experiments have shown it to be incredibly strong

The Roswell incident
Graphene is composed of carbon atoms arranged in tightly bound hexagons just one atom thick
Three million sheets of graphene on top of each other would be 1mm thick
The band structure of graphite was first theorised and calculated by PR Wallace in 1947, ( Now there is a coincidence, alarm bells ringing? ) though for it to exist in the real world was thought impossible
Due to the timing of this discovery, some conspiracy theorists have linked it to materials at the Roswell "crash site" Wow, he is referring here to the thin foil material which couldn't be destroyed
and when bent or crushed would return to it's original shape!!!
In 2004, teams including Dr Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov demonstrated that single layers could be isolated, resulting in the award of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2010It is a good thermal and electric conductor and can be used to develop semiconductor circuits and computer parts. Iceland volcano erupting
It has been confirmed that Grimsvotn volcano underneath the Vatnajokull glacier in southeast Iceland has begun erupting.
A plume of ash is visible, which has led scientists to confirm earlier reports of an eruption. Vidir Reynisson at the public safety unit of the Icelandic police says it is too early to tell how big an eruption it will be.
Earthquake activity began in the area after 18.00 this evening (local time) — which was taken as a clear sign of an imminent eruption. The emergency co-ordination centre at Skogarhlid in Reykjavik is in operation.
Grimsvotn is a large volcano buried under glacial ice. It erupts regularly, the last time in 2004. At the time, aviation was directed away from the ash; but there was no major disruption. That eruption and the one in 1998 both lasted around a week.
A joklahlaup is expected some time tomorrow, whereby the pressure of melted water literally lifts the glacier to release a huge and sudden flood. Such events are usual when Grimsvotn erupts and south Iceland infrastructure is built to cope with it. Road closures are somewhat likely and can be followed on www.vegagerdin.is.

Inspired by Arab Protests, Spain's Unemployed Rally for Change

Thousands of demonstrators are occupying squares in major cities across Spain, protesting high unemployment and lack of opportunities for youth, ahead of municipal elections on Sunday. Many of them say they've been inspired by similar protests across the Arab world.
Protesters have been camping out in the capital's main square for days. Volunteers set up food and medical tents, adorned with homemade revolution posters. Someone pinned an Egyptian flag up overhead.
No Homes, No Jobs, No Pension No Future!
But this is not Egypt, it is Spain. Educated but unemployed youth who are frustrated by the poor economy and perceived government corruption have taken over Madrid's main square, Puerta del Sol - inspired by similar youth uprisings across the Middle East.
Pedro Escol, an unemployed scientist with a PhD, surveys the scene around him - piles of sleeping bags, revolution banners and angry youth.
"This situation in the square reminds me of Tahrir Square in Egypt," said Escol. "We are brothers with them. We are brothers. We have the same problems."
Escol says he's frustrated. He has a good education, but can't find work. He thinks politicians here are corrupt.
And he says he was inspired by what young Egyptians did back in February. They took over a public square for days, calling for change. And it worked.
"Now I understand, that to take a square like [a] symbol is a very good way to force the government to talk about it, because the square is from the citizens. It's our square."
What started as spontaneous gatherings in Tunisia, and then Egypt, have now formed a blueprint for protests elsewhere - even in Europe. Calls have spread on Facebook for similar rallies among Spaniards living in Germany, the UK and Italy.

Normally we let this kind of information, even if it is wrong, on our web site because it is only published in our "For Seismologists Only" page with an associated disclaimer. But this time we decided to remove it from the web page as many people were wondering if there was a M8 in Lybia.

Sinkhole Opens in Beijing Road, Swallows Truck
The tail end of a truck protrudes from debris inside the Beijing sinkhole on April 26. According to news reports, the driver and a passenger jumped out of the vehicle before it sank into the hole. Both people were only slightly injured.
Engineers typically conduct foundation studies to test the stability of the ground at a site before beginning any major construction, such as a city highway. But "that's only been true within the last few decades," Hoyal said. It's possible, he said, that the Beijing sinkhole formed after a new roadway was built on top of an older road that did not have foundation studies done before its construction.
Based on the pictures, Hoyal estimates that the Beijing sinkhole is about 25 feet (7.6 meters) wide and about 35 feet (10.6 meters) deep.
"That's a pretty impressive sinkhole," he said.
(See pictures of sinkholes around the world.)

Fear for mass stranding of whales on South Uist
Marine animal experts are preparing for a potential mass stranding by up to 100 pilot whales in South Uist in the Western Isles.
The whales were spotted in Loch Carnan on Thursday afternoon and about 20 were said to have had cuts to their heads. It is thought the injuries may have been caused by the whales' attempts to strand themselves on the rocky foreshore of the sea loch.
Sick and injured whales are known to beach themselves to die.
However, at times, dying whales have been followed to shore by healthy animals.
Rescuers said inflatable pontoons for refloating whales were on the way.
The pod had been moving back and forth from the shore and rescuers said the animals were "very vocal", which may be a sign of distress.
Alasdair Jack British Divers Marine Life Rescue
The whales, a deep water species, have since moved from the loch back to a nearby bay, where they were seen earlier on Thursday.
Members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) fear the whales could die in a massive beaching - which could be Scotland's largest stranding.BDMLR Scottish organiser Alasdair Jack said preventing the mammals from stranding would cause unnecessary suffering and the animals would only move on to another shoreline.
He said: "Rather than try to stop them coming ashore, we would let them come ashore and then try to deal with that situation when it arose.
"We have got several sets of pontoons with us, which is our whale refloatation equipment, and we have got more on the way.
"We have currently got 12 sets congregating on the Uists, which is basically every set in the UK."
He added: "We are going to let them play out whatever role they want to do and take it as it comes."

Dead leopard sharks turning up in Richardson Bay
An alarming number of sick, dying and dead leopard sharks have been turning up on the shores of Richardson Bay over the past two weeks, but researchers are baffled as to what is causing the problem, observed elsewhere in the Bay Area as well.
The period of April through June is when leopard sharks enter shallow waters, like those in Richardson Bay, to spawn. This year, some are not leaving. "I first noticed one April 10, it was acting bizarre," said Kerry Wilcox, sanctuary manager at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center and Sanctuary. "It was bumping into pilings and stranding itself on rocks and was coming into water that was shallower and shallower."
Wilcox assumed it was an isolated case, but he then heard of similar issues with leopard sharks near Redwood City later in April. In less than two weeks, as many as 50 leopard sharks washed up dead near Redwood City.
Starting May 2, Richardson Bay Audubon Center and Sanctuary researchers began to scour beaches along Richardson Bay after high tide. Since then, more than 20 have turned up dead.
"The leopard sharks are here this time of year anyway, but we don't know if that's why we are seeing dead ones or if they are being washed here," Wilcox said. "There are all sorts of questions."
Last week, Liz Beers and her mother were walking near Greenwood Cove near the Cove Apartments in Tiburon and saw five leopard sharks that had beached themselves.

Manure causes fish kill in Vernon County
Manure runoff has killed more than 400 fish in Runge Hollow Lake in Vernon County, the Department of Natural Resources reported Tuesday.
Fisheries biologist Jordan Weeks said DNR officials found dead and dying fish at the lake Thursday.
The DNR can levy fines to landowners who allow manure to run off their properties, but tracing the manure to a particular farm is often difficult.
Weeks said the fish kill likely started May 11.
Between two and three inches of rain fell in areas of Vernon County on Monday. The water washed manure into the lake and also led to a rapid warming of the water, which creates conditions for a bacterial infection in fish called columnaris.
Weeks said DNR staff collected nearly 400 dead fish Thursday and “fish were still dying” as they left the lake.
Columnaris is common and usually leads to killing weaker panfish in a lake.
“Actually, it can be a good thing for the overall health of the fish population,” Weeks said.
But DNR staff found five dead large mouth bass each weighing more than five pounds.
“There was foam from manure at the outflow below the dam,” Weeks said. “The lake looked and smelled like manure.”
There have been similar kills at Runge Hollow Lake, 7 miles northwest of Viroqua, in the past, Weeks said.
“We’re going to monitor the watershed a lot closer,” Weeks said. “We don’t want a repeat of what happened at Jersey Valley six years ago.”
In March 2005, manure runoff led to a near-total fish kill at the 54-acre Jersey Valley Lake in Vernon County.

Ermine moth larvae in Bradford's Shipley Hall Fields strip 15 trees bare!
A caterpillar infestation at a Bradford park is to be left alone for nature to take its course.
Residents living near the park in Shipley Fields Road, Frizinghall, said the grey moth larvae covering the trees were like something out of a horror film.
The caterpillars stripped leaves and bark from trees and left sticky cobwebs in their wake.
The outbreak of the unsightly creatures is thought to have been helped by the recent spell of warm weather.
One Telegraph & Argus reader said he feared the creatures were stinging oak processionary moth caterpillars, which have been found in other parts of the country and can pose health risks.

Hundred and hundreds of dead fish BURRILL Lake, NSW.
Terry Conran surveys Burrill Lake for dead fish and other marine life, including stingrays, earlier this week.BURRILL Lake fishermen raised the alarm on a mysterious fish kill on Sunday.
Local fisher Terry Conran said a family fishing trip turned sour after witnessing the event.
Terry who took his son, Grant and grandchildren out on Burrill Lake, said he was disturbed by the sight of so much dead sea life.
"To see that many fish dead is upsetting," Terry said.
Terry Conran has lived in Burrill Lake for 27 years and has never seen such an event on the water.
The area in which the dead sea life was found is known locally as the West Bar.
"There were hundred and hundreds of dead fish with a very unpleasant smell," Terry said.
Terry's son Grant Conran grew up on the Lake had never experienced anything like the mysterious fish kill he witnessed.
"Were we just motoring along and noticed dead bait fish, garfish, flathead and stingrays just belly up in the water.
"Some of the stingray appeared to be alive but on closer inspection they weren't," he said.
Terry and his son reported the incident first thing on Monday morning to the Department of Marine who then contacted NSW Fisheries experts.
Samson Hollywood from the NSW Fisheries Department doesn't believe there is anything suspicious involved.
"The majority of these cases are natural occurrence and are not linked to anything suspicious," he said this week.
Fisheries inspectors commenced testing the quality of the water on Monday afternoon but were were yet to release the results when the Milton Ulladulla Times went to print.
Human involvement is not thought to have played a part in the incident.
Marine ecologist Samantha Kneeshaw said the fish kill was likely to be a natural phenomenon due to lack of oxygen in the lake.

Ocean chaos increasing: Hundreds of dead fish wash up on Australian beaches
Hundreds of sunfish have washed up on Goode Beach and Frenchman's Bay (Rebecca Dollery)The Department of Fisheries says a strong Leeuwin Current is causing an unusual species of fish to wash up on Albany's shores.
Dozens of oceanic sunfish have been found dead on Goode Beach and at Frenchman's Bay.
The sunfish is native to tropical and temperate waters.
The department's senior research scientist Dr Kim Smith says a strong current is dragging large numbers of sunfish to cooler, southern waters.
"This time of year is associated with the Leeuwin Current flowing across the South Coast at its strongest," she said.
"It's that warm water current and it brings these fish down, this year we have a really strong Leeuwin current and there's a lot washing up."
Dr Smith says hundreds of sunfish washed up on the South Coast in 2008 due to the current.
"It's possible that this event might be a bigger one, in terms of more fish washing up than the 2008 event," she said.

What does Fukushima, UFO's and Dead birds have in common with The Special Research Centre Of The Netherlands?
Water from the vicinity of the Fukushima Nuclear reactor is being checked for radiation at the The Special Research Center Of The Netherlands but does this nuclear facility have a more sinister background?
Rumours suggest NRG/ENC have a larger than expected cancer rate among employees! A friend of mine Danny a young 49 year old worked there, he suddenly developed lung cancer, he didn't smoke, a couple of weeks later he died of a heart attack leaving a wife and three lovely kids.
Strange UFO's have been filmed resembling the California Drones and I myself photographed tens of dead birds less than three miles away in January.
Snippet
Therefore I thought it rather interesting that a drone would turn up in Petten of all places. Except for the reactor there's really nothing of interest there. It's mainly a recreation zone.

The Petten facility is rather controversial. Through the years there have been safety problems and some people who have worked there have died young of rare types of cancer, including the father of a colleague of mine who had worked there for many years as a nuclear scientist. The facility is somewhat shrouded in mystery. Although the Petten nuclear facility plays an important role in producing isotopes for medical use in Europe, there is also cutting edge secret research going on there. The drone could be spying, but it might just as well be theirs!
I just want to emphasize again that I feel very strongly that there must be a connection between the drone and the facility. Petten is an important place and plays a strategic role in European energy research. The facility is not even owned by the Dutch government, but by the European Commission. The research being done there is not only related to nuclear energy but other types of energy as well. For example, there's groundbreaking research being done in the field fuel cells for example. I used to know a guy who works there on fuel cells

Exploding' watermelons in China
Farmers in eastern China have been left perplexed after their watermelons began to explode one by one.
An investigation by state media found farms in Jiangsu province were losing acres of fruit because of the problem. The overuse of a chemical that helps fruit grow faster was blamed in one report by China Central Television.
But agriculture experts were unable to explain why chemical-free melons were exploding. They cited the weather and abnormal size of the melon as factors.

Was Fukushima a China Syndrome?
The China Syndrome refers to a scenario in which a molten nuclear reactor core could could fission its way through its containment vessel, melt through the basement of the power plant and down into the earth. While a molten reactor core wouldn't burn "all the way through to China" it could enter the soil and water table and cause huge contamination in the crops and drinking water around the power plant. It's a nightmare scenario, the stuff of movies. And it might just have happened at Fukushima.
Last week, plant operator Tepco sent engineers in to recalibrate water level gauges in reactor number 1. They made an alarming discovery: virtually all the fuel in the core had melted down. That means that the zirconium alloy tubes that hold the uranium fuel and the fuel itself lies in a clump---either at the bottom of the pressure vessel, or in the basement below or possibly even outside the containment building. Engineers don't know for sure, though current temperature readings suggest that fission inside the reactor core has definitely ceased for good (i.e. there will be no further melting).
Anecdotal evidence doesn't bode well for how far the fuel melted: Tepco has been pumping thousands of tons of water onto reactor 1 to try to cool it—yet the water level in the containment vessel is too low to run an emergency cooling system. That means the water is escaping somewhere on a course cut by molten fuel--probably into the basement of the reactor building, though it's also possible it melted through everything into the earth.

Cell Phones Caused Mysterious Worldwide Bee Deaths, Study Finds
Cellphone transmissions may be responsible for a mysterious, worldwide die off in bees that has mystified scientists.
Dr. Daniel Favre, a former biologist with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland, carefully placed a mobile phone underneath a beehive and then monitored the reaction of the workers.
According to a story in The Daily Mail, the bees were able to tell when the handsets were making and receiving calls. They responded by making the high pitched squeaks that usually signal the start of swarming.
"This study shows that the presence of an active mobile phone disturbs bees -- and has a dramatic effect," Favre told the Daily Mail.
Favre believes this to be evidence of something other scientists have suggested: Signals from mobile phones are contributing to the decline of honeybees. Favre thinks more research could help confirm the link between cell signals and "colony collapse disorder" -- the sudden disappearance of entire colonies over winter -- which has halved the bee population, according to some estimates.
Last June, researchers from Chandigarh's Punjab University in India came to a similar conclusion, recording a decrease in the population of a hive fitted with a mobile phone and a decrease in the egg output of the queen in that hive.

TRANSFORMERS (more than meets the eye?!) COMPILATION OF 39+ TRANSFORMER INCIDENTS past month
Here's a list of compiled transformer incidents that have happened within the last 3 1/2 weeks. I don't know if this is the usual number of transformer fires, explosions, and problems over the course of three and a half weeks, but it seems kind of high to me. I left out several in India and Africa which could simply be attributed to poor infrastructure, and also disregarded reports blaming wrecks, storms, or squirrels.

Alien-like Squid With "Elbows" Filmed at Drilling Site
A mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) underwater, a remote control submersible's camera has captured an eerie surprise: an alien-like, long-armed, and—strangest of all—"elbowed" Magnapinna squid. (See photos of Magnapinna.)
In a brief video from the dive recently obtained by National Geographic News, one of the rarely seen squid loiters above the seafloor in the Gulf of Mexico on November 11, 2007.
The clip—from a Shell oil company ROV (remotely operated vehicle)—arrived after a long, circuitous trip through oil-industry in-boxes and other email accounts.
In a few seconds of jerky camerawork, the squid appears with its huge fins waving like elephant ears and its remarkable arms and tentacles trailing from elbow-like appendages.
Despite the squid's apparent unflappability on camera, Magnapinna, or "big fin," squid remain largely a mystery to science.
ROVs have filmed Magnapinna squid a dozen or so times in the Gulf and the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans.
The recent video marks the first sighting of a Magnapinna at an oil development, though experts don't think the squid's presence there has any special scientific significance.

Giant Squid Killed by Sound?
When giant squid were found dead off Spain about a decade ago, scientists suspected that powerful sound pulses from ships had harmed the animals. Now the evidence may be in.
A new study says low-frequency sounds from human activities can affect squid and other cephalopods, not just whales and other marine mammals, which have long been thought to be vulnerable to such pulses. (See "U.S. Navy Sonar May Harm Killer Whales, Expert Says.")
The finding suggests noise pollution in the ocean is having a much broader effect on marine life than previously thought, said study leader Michel André, a marine bioacoustician at Barcelona's Technical University of Catalonia.
"We know that noise pollution in the oceans has a significant impact on dolphins and whales [which use natural sonar to navigate and hunt]. ... but this is the first study indicating a severe impact on invertebrates, an extended group of marine species that are not known to rely on sound for living," André said in a statement.

U.S.: Dead walleye showing up by the thousands in Ohio
"I'm hearing thousands or tens of thousands maybe, on the high side," said biologist and ODNR Lake Erie Program Administrator Roger Knight. "This is something out of the ordinary."
According to Knight, there are several possible causes.
The natural cause could be the unpredictable weather during the last six weeks or so, which extended the walleye spawning period. That, Knight said, likely exhausted a large portion of the population, especially males, which tend to stay in the shallow, crowded spawning beds longer than females.
"When they finish spawning," he said, "they've expended a lot of energy."
The weak, malnourished and exhausted fish then become susceptible to natural diseases and, as a result, can die in large numbers.

Mystery of the helicopter that landed at scene of Dr Kelly's death after his body was found
International renown: Mystery still surrounds the death of weapons expert Dr David Kelly in 2003 A helicopter mysteriously landed at the scene of Dr David Kelly’s death shortly after the body was found.
The aircraft only remained on the ground for five minutes before leaving, suggesting it either deposited or collected somebody or something.
Details from its flight log, released under the Freedom of Information Act, show that the helicopter – hired by Thames Valley police – landed at Harrowdown Hill in Oxfordshire at 10.55am on July 18, 2003, 90 minutes after the body was discovered by volunteer search teams.
Significantly, the flight log has been heavily redacted, making it impossible to know who was on board or what its exact purpose was.
The flight was not mentioned in oral evidence at the Hutton Inquiry, set up by Tony Blair to investigate Dr Kelly’s death.
Dr Andrew Watt, who has previously raised questions about the suicide finding reached by Lord Hutton, has written to Attorney General Dominic Grieve drawing his attention to the flight.
Dr Watt, a clinical pharmacologist, said: ‘If the purpose of the helicopter flight was innocent, one has to ask why it was kept secret.’
The riddle joins the growing list of unanswered questions about the circumstances of the government weapons inspector’s final moments.
It emerges in the same week that Tony Blair and Alastair Campbell were accused of lying to the Chilcot Inquiry into the lead-up to the Iraq war.

CALIFORNIA SHARKS washing up DEAD due to Internal BLEEDING
From Adriene in Texas
Dozens of leopard sharks have been washing up dead in California since April, and now a necropsy shows at least one of the sharks died of massive internal bleeding, such that blood was even coming out of the shark's skin, according to a Daily News report.
BLOG: Shark Fins Traced to Endangered Populations
The necropsy, conducted by the California Department of Fish and Game, uncovered "inflammation, bleeding and lesions in the brain, and hemorrhaging from the skin near vents." According to the Daily News story, bleeding was additionally detected around the tested female's other internal organs.
The results suggest the 50 sharks that have washed up dead at Redwood Shores in Redwood City, California, since April must have died a slow and agonizing death.
Catherine Greer, a resident of the city, said she and her son tried to save some of the sharks by returning them to the water, but "they'd swim right back, thrashing their heads against the shore ... as if they were trying to commit suicide."

This video reminded me of a photo Trisagio sent me from Costa Rica a couple of weeks ago, it is remarkably similliar take a look
And we had a comment this same UFO was seen in the US

Mysterious Mounds Found on the Moon
Odd-looking mounds on the floor of King crater (5.0°N, 120.5°E). Image number M115522928LE; incidence angle 75°; image is ~900 meters across
NASA/GSFC/Arizona State University
What are these circular features? These mounds are found within a large pool of now-solidified impact melt covering the floor of King crater (5.0°N and 120.5°E). North is up, and sunlight is coming from the east, which is how we can tell at a glance that these are positive-relief constructs, and not negative-relief impact craters (compare with some of the obvious craters in the image to convince yourself that this is true). There are many such mounds on the King crater floor. They are often circular, but occur in groups with irregular outlines as well.
One interpretation of the mounds is that the King impact melt remained hot long enough after accumulating as a pond, and partially crusting over during cooling, to still "ooze" here and there through holes or cracks in the fresh crust. The soft melt quickly cooled after reaching the surface and built itself up vertically while spreading out laterally at each point where this happened. Think of pressing a board with holes in it on a layer of wet mud or toothpaste.
While this explanation may sound similar in some ways to a volcanic process, this kind of "extrusion" differs from classic volcanism in a very fundamental way: The source in such a model is a shallow, surface emplacement of short-lived, molten material (the impact melt), as opposed to magma coming from the mantle or crustal magma chambers, which stay molten for much longer periods of time and tend to produce higher-pressure and more voluminous extrusions. Perhaps the weight of the cooling melt crust was enough to cause this (the board in our thought experiment). Perhaps another force assisted. Or perhaps the mounds formed in a way completely different from this scenario. Such are the problems of planetary science, and we can always rely on nature to surprise us by presenting situations that do not lend themselves to easy interpretation or classification; hence the "anomalous" status for today's featured image.

Massive Cloud of Radiation Heading for the U.S
New forecasts show a very predominate cloud of radiation that seems to blanket most of the United states in the next few days. Looking at the map you can see that the brunt of this cloud will hit the Western United States as well as Canada very hard. With steady winds flowing from Japan and heading east ,we will continue to see this happen. As mentioned in other articles, food supplies have already seen reports of low levels of Radiation being tested, and with these new massive fallout clouds heading east I’m sure these levels will increase. As you will read below, this map was never intended for everyday citizens to find. Thanks to Alexander for his hard work at digging this up!
“While playing around with the URL’s for Japan nuclear iodine forecasts I discovered a nuclear radiation forecast that was accidentally placed on the ZAMG website. The scientists inadvertently uploaded a radiation forecast showing a massive cloud of Fukushima Xenon radiation spreading over Japan and the United States instead of the iodine forecast for May 9, 2011.
Being inquisitive, I “hacked” the URL and tried getting the May 9th forecast.
Much to my surprise the file “20110508_I-131_FUKU.gif” didn’t pull up i-131 dispersion plume. Instead it pulled the WORLD XENON radiation plume projection and it looks bad.”

More Strange Noises: Mystery boom rattles parts of Va.
A loud boom rattled Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore but the source is a mystery.
Media outlets report that the mystery boom occurred Tuesday night. It was reported in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake and Suffolk.
Some residents reported that the disturbance shook their homes.
The U.S. Geological Survey’s reports show no seismic activity at the time.
A spokeswoman at Oceana Naval Air Station says a sonic boom from the base wouldn’t be heard as far away as Suffolk.
A NASA spokesman says there wasn’t any rocket activity at the Wallops Island facility that could cause such a noise.
National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Rusnak says there wasn’t any severe weather at the time.

White House talks about 9.0 magnitude Earthquake in the USA
Uploaded by dutchsinse on 10 May 2011
Ed. Note: This is the first of a two-part blog focusing on the science and aftermath of earthquakes. Part I focuses on the science of a high-magnitude earthquake and whether one could happen in the United States. Tomorrow, Part II will focus on What We Can Do About It.
Part I: Could a 9.0 Happen Here?
Four deadly earthquakes in just over a year—Haiti, Chile, New Zealand, and now Japan—have provided sudden reminders of the tectonic forces active beneath our feet. Perhaps more importantly, they serve as reminders that disasters resulting from those earthquakes are not the work of nature alone. Even in the face of such giant forces, societal decisions before and after an earthquake can have a major impact on the amount of damage, lives lost, and other outcomes. So while scientists and engineers share in society’s obligation to help the victims, we have an additional responsibility to learn from these events and share lessons that can be applied to vulnerable communities—not only abroad, but also here in the United States.

Italians evacuate Rome over 'big one' fears
Italians are fleeing Rome today over fears a giant earthquake is coming following a seismologist's 1915 prediction that "the big one" will strike on May 11, 2011.
Businesses have reported requests from one in five people to have time off work and many are also keeping children away from school and heading to the beach or country for the day.
Romans are taking it so seriously that local newspapers have even been publishing survival guides with tips of what to do – if – the ground starts to tremble.
The panic has been fanned by Facebook, Twitter and text messages around a prediction by Raffaele Bendani, a seismologist who forecast in 1915 that a "big one" would hit Rome on Wednesday.
He is also said to have predicted other earthquakes which hit Italy during the last hundred years before his death in 1979.
Bendandi believed movement of plates and therefore earthquakes were the result of the combined movements of the planets, the moon and the sun and perfectly predictable.
In 1923 he predicted a quake would hit central Italy on January 2 the following year – he was wrong by two days.
For his work Bendandi was even given a knighthood by Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini – and ordered not to make any more predictions on pain of exile as officials feared he would create immense panic.
An estimated 20 million people live at risk from earthquakes in Italy, which is also home to some of the most active volcanoes in Europe.

3rd Crop Circle? Hannington, nr Cricklade, Wiltshire. Reported 7th May.
Please find attached images of the Blunsdon formation I visited this evening. In my opinion, man made, reasons for this as below.....
Having travelled from my place of work in Swindon, I made my way along country lanes through the village of Blunsdon. Forget you Satnav, this place is off the map!!..... to find it you will need an OS map. I travelled 3 - 4 km down single track road until I came to it's end. From here it becomes cycle route/footbath/bridle way. I parked the car, grabbed my stuff and set off on foot, knowing I still had a walk of at least 2km ahead of me.
On reaching the field, the depressions can be seen from the footpath, I made my way to the far end of the field and cut back into the tramlines until I reached the edge of the formation. The floor lay was un-striking. On closer inspection, nearly every plant stem I examined had been broken clean off at the base, right above the ground. Others were broken anywhere between ground level and 6 inches above the ground. Others were part split along the stem, obvious pressure being applied along the stem with some weight. Everything indicating that foot power had been used. Quite interesting to me is the width of the rings in the outer circles......... probably about the max width that can be had with a stomping board?
Other tell tales signs are the scrap marks up the plant where the soft outer wall of the plant had been bruised. Also, and here is the reminder for all of you who wish to maintain that this is a genuine formation....PLEASE PLEASE, look back at the original findings of Mr Andrews and Mr Delgado....... in genuine circles, the plant stems are BENT NOT BROKEN, 2-3 inches above the ground and the plants are manipulated into position by some other force which places the plant and stem neatly ABOVE the ground.
Every plant in this formation is broken at ground level, OR if not broken, the whole stem is knocked over at the root, and then layed absolutely flat to the ground. Other indications of this being man made are the flattened rings of crops around the standing edges.........clear evidence of parts of the formation going down before others parts to create defined edges. Certainly this formation did not go to the ground in one swoop of some E.T. forcefield.
This location is extremely remote. An ideal location to make a formation without fear of being disturbed. The road I followed is the only one in or out. There are no overlooking vantage points to get an aerial view of the formation. If it was not for the keen eye of a member of the public, I don't think this formation would have been spotted. Which begs the question as to why anyone would bother to go to the length of walking out into the middle of nowhere to make this formation? totally off radar.

Sick fish in Gulf are alarming scientists
Red snapper with abnormal stripes caught by a local commercial fisherman. Scientists are seeing a growing number of Gulf fish with lesions and other health problems and are conducting tests to determine whether they are related to the BP oil spill. / Special to the News Journal
Scientists are alarmed by the discovery of unusual numbers of fish in the Gulf of Mexico and inland waterways with skin lesions, fin rot, spots, liver blood clots and other health problems."It's a huge red flag," said Richard Snyder, director of the University of West Florida Center for Environmental Diagnostics and Bioremediation. "It seems abnormal, and anything we see out of the ordinary we'll try to investigate."
Are the illnesses related to the BP oil spill, the cold winter or something else?
If the illnesses are related to the oil spill, it could be a warning sign of worse things to come.
In the years following the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska's Prince William Sound, the herring fishery collapsed and has not recovered, according to an Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee report. The herring showed similar signs of illness — including skin lesions — that are showing up in Gulf fish.
Worried that same scenario could play out along the Gulf Coast, Patterson is conducting research on the chronic effects of the BP oil spill on Gulf fish. And he sees troubling signs consistent with oil exposure: fish with lesions, external parasites, odd pigmentation patterns, and diseased livers and ovaries. These may be signs of compromised immune systems in fish that are expending their energy dealing with toxins, Patterson said.
"I've had tens of thousands of fish in my hands and not seen these symptoms in so many fish before," said Patterson, who has been studying fish, including red snapper, for 15 years. "All those symptoms have been seen naturally before, but it's a matter of them all coming at once that we're concerned about."

Punjab: Muslim extremists attack, forcing Christian families to flee
A mob attacks homes and places of worship. The Christian minority is forced to flee fearful of more violence. The discovery of a burnt copy of the Qur‘an in a Christian cemetery sparks a reaction among Muslims. Restrictions are imposed on the right to assembly. Paul Bhatti meets victims, urging everyone to remain calm.
Lahore (AsiaNews) – Tensions are running high in Gujranwala, a town in the Pakistani province of Punjab, recent scene of repeated attacks by Muslim extremists against the Christian minority. Yesterday, a mob attacked Christian homes and places of worship, setting fire to a number of churches. Only the action of police prevented any loss of life and injuries. The attacks were sparked by reports that a burnt copy of the Qur‘an had been found on Saturday. Muslim religious leaders responded by urging people to attack Christians. Scared for their lives, many families fled the area. Meanwhile, the authorities have begun enforcing Section 144 of the Pakistan Penal Code to limit public assemblies to a maximum of four people.

The Mysterious Deaths of Nine Gulf Oil Spill Whistleblowers
Uploaded by TheDailyConversation on 10 Apr 2011
In the past year, nine vocal critics or potential whistleblowers of the Gulf oil spill all died in extremely mysterious ways. Their deaths could be strange, unrelated coincidences. Or they could have been killed as part of a conspiracy to silence those who were speaking out against the worst oil spill in American history.

Record wildlife die-offs reported in Northern Rockies
SALMON, Idaho — A record number of big-game animals perished this winter in parts of Montana, Idaho and Wyoming from a harsh season of unusually heavy snows and sustained cold in the Northern Rockies, state wildlife managers say.
"Elk, deer and moose -- those animals are having a pretty tough time," said Wyoming Game and Fish biologist Doug Brimeyer.Snow and frigid temperatures in pockets of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming arrived earlier and lingered longer than usual, extending the time that wildlife were forced to forage on low reserves for scarce food, leading more of them to starve.
Based on aerial surveys of big-game herds and signals from radio-collared animals, experts are documenting high mortality among offspring of mule deer, white-tailed deer and pronghorn antelope.
This comes as big-game animals enter the last stretch of a period from mid-March through early May that is considered critical for survival.
Wildlife managers estimate die-offs in the tens of thousands across thousands of square miles that span prairie in northeastern Montana, the upper Snake River basin in Idaho near Yellowstone National Park and the high country of northwestern Wyoming near the exclusive resort of Jackson.
Brimeyer said the estimated death rate doubled among deer fawns in the Jackson area this year, rising to 60 percent or more from 30 percent.
He said many thousands more elk have crowded the feeding grounds of the National Elk Refuge near Jackson, yet another sign of the toll winter is exacting.
The trend also is pronounced in a wildlife management area near McCall in the mountains of central Idaho, where the estimated mortality rate among mule deer fawns is 90 percent this winter, compared with an average annual rate of 20 percent.
Mike Scott, regional wildlife biologist in McCall for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, said how animals fare during the lean months of winter -- when snow blankets the woody shrubs and wild plants they favor -- is tied to fattening in fall.
"Deer are mostly living on body fat through the winter. If it goes on too long, they run out of gas," he said.
Fawns born in early June are more resilient than fawns born as late as July since older offspring have more time to add to their body mass.
Pronghorn antelope have been hit hard in eastern and northeastern Montana, where wildlife managers say nothing akin to this season's die-offs has been seen in 30-plus years.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks biologist Howard Burt said pronghorn in winter seek to migrate to areas of less snow.
This season, that migration turned deadly for 700 or more antelope in northeastern Montana after the animals traveled along plowed railroad corridors and were killed by trains. Scientists said their aim is to mitigate the effects of the die-offs by reducing pressure placed on herds by such activities as hunting and by delaying opening of wildlife habitat areas to people and vehicles.
As Idaho wildlife biologist Bret Stansberry put it: "We can't do anything about the weather, we can only deal with the aftermath."
