REPORTEast Kennett, Wiltshire.
Reported May 3 2009.
This formation was discovered from the air around 10.45am Sunday May 3. The glyph can not be seen from the surrounding landscape. Overall diameter of this event is approximately 180 feet. Due to severe time constraints no critical examination of the laid plants was carried out. It did however appear that at least a few people had visited the circle during the early morning of day one, resulting in random damage to plants all over the formation.

Morgans Hill, Near Devizes, Wiltshire Reported April 24 2009.
This formation spans across approximately 308 feet of 5ft high flowering Oil-Seed-Rape and is noted as one of the largest circles ever to appear in this type of crop.
On the ground the plants are laid extremely neatly over the entire formation. The vast majority of laid plants are undamaged.
BE ADVISED, THE FARMER DOES NOT WANT PEOPLE IN THIS CIRCLE

My quick observations for Morgans Hill 24/04/09 are:~ There appeared to be a single dried mud track around the glyph, possibly early morning, whilst crop was still wet, I didn't see damaged crop, just the very occasional broken stems, both factors consistent with few visitors. All the full circles swirl clockwise, whilst the crescents anticlockwise, The crop appears to have the ‘dusty bloom’ intact throughout. The centre pieces are each splayed outwards, with a single upright stem remaining in some...Aside from the astronomy orbital indication, The Triple Moon Symbol came to mind. It has many interpretations, although the common consensus is:~ symbol of the Triple Goddess A representation of the three phases of the Moon, the three phases of human life and the cycle of all things. As a symbol of the cosmic cycles it is also a representation of the process of life and death, reincarnation and rebirth The three moons, crescent, full and declining, is often linked to the triple goddess Brighid, also associated with Hecate, Selene, Diana the crescent moon represents the virgin, associated to birth, youth, new beginnings and enchantment; the full moon is the mother, and it represents ripeness, sexuality, completeness and life; the declining moon symbolizes old age, wisdom and rest, death and endings, Thus the cycles continues ad infinitum.

This latest striking design, situated on Rutlands Farm just outside the Stone Circle of Avebury village has an uncanny connection to some rather alarming news which has come to light about our own Sun. According to calculations a huge Solar Storm could hit the planet earth in only three years time. That's right 2012! Perhaps this is the message given in this new formation. Solar Storms are swarms of electrically charged subatomic particles from the Sun, which buffet the Earth causing problems for orbiting satellites, which have delicate electronics. On the ground we witness them as the Northern and Southern Lights. However a few times throughout history the Sun ejects enormous swarms, which can cause serious damage to our electrical power structure causing catastrophic harm to our modern-day global structures. Perhaps we need to not only keep an eye on the ground, but also to the heavens.

Explanation: Late last month another erupting filament lifted off the active solar surface and blasted this enormous bubble of magnetic plasma into space. Direct light from the sun is blocked in this picture of the event with the sun's relative position and size indicated by a white half circle at bottom center. The field of view extends 2 million kilometers or more from the solar surface. While hints of these explosive events, called coronal mass ejections or CMEs, were discovered by spacecraft in the early 70s this dramatic image is part of a detailed record of this CME's development from the presently operating SOlar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) spacecraft. Near the minimum of the solar activity cycle CMEs occur about once a week, but as we approach solar maximum rates of two or more per day are anticipated. Though this CME was clearly not headed for Earth, strong CMEs are seen to profoundly influence space weather, and those directed toward our planet and can have serious effects.
The calm before the storm? The sun is very quiet at the moment!
