Today at work I was listening to the Dutch radio, when the advertisement's came I was stunned when I heard this! Or words to this affect.
In Holland we have everything we need but have you stopped to think, one day we may not!
Did you stop to think what it would be like if suddenly we had no,running water,
No electricity, no gas, no heating, no....... and on and on he went, describing every possible scenario possible, every possible scenario which we conspiracy theorist discuss all the time!
But this was the Dutch Government warning it's people.
The advertisement went on to say we want, YOU TO BUY A SURVIVAL KIT AND STOCK UP ON FOOD AND OTHER ESSENTIAL GOODS!
I couldn't catch the end of the advertisement so I did a Google when I came home and found this, link

I recently read in a national Dutch newspaper that government leaders, are warning government members of a coming world wide disaster and are warning members to stock up, with food and water and are even issuing Dutch politicians with a survival kit as a Christmas packet in place of the usual traditional gifts of wine and other luxury gifts!
I have checked the Internet, just type are the Dutch preparing for 2012, or something along them lines and you will be shocked to see how many Dutch people are preparing for the end times!

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, June 23 (UPI) -- Thousands of people in the Netherlands say they expect the world to end in 2012, and many say they are taking precautions to prepare for the apocalypse.
The Dutch-language de Volkskrant newspaper said it spoke to thousands of believers in the impending end of civilization, and while theories on the supposed catastrophe varied, most tied the 2012 date to the end of the Mayan calendar, Radio Netherlands reported Monday.
De Volkskrant said many of those interviewed are stocking up on emergency supplies, including life rafts and other equipment.
Some who spoke to the newspaper were not optimistic about the end of civilization.
"You know, maybe it's really not that bad that the Netherlands will be destroyed," Petra Faile said. "I don't like it here anymore. Take immigration, for example. They keep letting people in. And then we have to build more houses, which makes the Netherlands even heavier. The country will sink even lower, which will make the flooding worse."
The above story was covered on Fox news as well and many other international news media.
Is the Dutch government the first to admit we are heading for disaster? Other governments are beginning to leak out snippets of information, The Norwegians for instance openly admit to building doomsday underground shelters and Globaly there are whispers on the grapevine of disclosure coming shortly.
On a separate issue but all too relevant, in Britain with a population of 60 million, there is one CCTV camera for every 17 people, that is a huge amount of surveillance.
In the States, reports of thousands of plastic coffins piled high in fields, open for the public to see and of course the Fema camps that have sprung up overnight all over the country.

The main reason why the USA government does not say anything is due to the nation causing a panic. Take for instance, the year 2000, everyone thought there was going to be a power outage, people then started to panic and buy many things that they didn't need. I am an environmental graduate and have read many books pertaining to the things that are going on. From my perspective, I think that the earth is just going through is cleansing cycle. The earth goes through a cleansing cycle ever so often. This is actually taking place at this time, earthquaks, volcanic eruptions, global warming, etc. My point is, is that when one person starts a rumor it passes on to thousands maybe millions. This rumor has been started several times before and what I have found is that we are still here!

ReplyDeleteif it happens it happens but as far as i can say NOBODY can predict the future, mankind will wipe themselves out eventually, but not 4 a fair while longer i think. i read up about this and apparantly it was meant to happen in may 2003 although when it didnt they 'conveniently' decided to tie it in with the Mayan calendar ending to make it seem more likely. yes bad things happen all the time, eartquakes, storms etc but they will get worse no doubt as time goes on but i think that people shouldnt panic about hearsay on the internet. if it happens it happens and thats that, nobody can say it will or wont.

ReplyDeleteAll this stuff is scaring the crap out of people! I watched the History Channel's and Jessie Ventura's show about 2012 and all I can say is if it happens, it happens. No amount of survival gear or hidden bunkers is going to protect anyone from the devastation of planet Earth. There have always been Doomsday prophecies and my thoughts are two: someone is either making money off of this scare campaign and it's just bull OR it's true and the up side of it is we are all going out together. You won't know what hit you so lighten up and enjoy what life you might have left! As for me, I do not believe that anyone can predict the future, so I think it's safe to say that we will see dawn on December 22, 2012. Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteI don't know why everyone is in such a panic, at the end of the day if anything does happen to this planet of our's, whether it be the earth shifting on it's axis plunging us into an ice age, or the tectonic plate's moving & crumbling beneath our feet due to massive worldwide volcanic activity, or a massive solar flare hitting the earth disrupting the magnetic field, destroying the ionosphere & frying the earth to a crisp, or, if indeed, we are hit by a huge asteroid & go the same way as the Dinosaur's which by the way was by far not the only time there was an extinction level event on this planet, this planet has seen several epoch's come & go in the last one billion year's alone, there's really not very much any of us could do about it. But what get's me is the idea that everyone think's that the world will end on the 21/12/2012 because this Mayan calander just happen's to end on that date. The Mayan Calander started some three thousand year's ago & it is said that it represent's the end of an one age & the start of a new one, do you not think it's possible that if the Mayan's that made this calander were still around today that they just might have started a new one....?

ReplyDeleteOne more thing....a politician came out to warn the people (cant remember which country) but it was somewhere in the Netherlands...i have since had no luck finding his warning and i'd say it was scrapped from the internet...he sounded distressed and sad that most people are still in the dark about coming events..if anyone saved that politicans warning, could you please post it here..i'm sorry i never saved it..it was at least 2 years ago that i read it..God Bless

This will increase solar flares. 1859 and 1882 solar storms fried telegraph wires across Europe and North America. A storm that size today would be disastrous. No power, satellites, water, and a lack of food. (and no GPS for your ride home,,,) And when you throw in a 26,000 year unknown (the Galactic Alignment) seven months after the transit of Venus, well it gets suspenseful. A slight shift in the gravitation pull on the Earth can increase seismic activity along the "Ring of Fire", more importantly the Pacific area. Volcanic eruptions, rising tides, and tsunamis are also effects of an increased pull on the Earth.
